Directing and supporting projects
Stronger commitment from the project sponsors, more efficient work of the steering groups and reinforced support to the projects are often needed in the process to create a favorable environment for projects within an organization.
Aims
This course aims to give participants a better understanding of the project sponsor role and its importance for the success of the project. Using knowledge gained from this course, participants will have better opportunities to develop the ability of their organization to pursue projects.
Format
This in-house course is built up around short lectures, group work and discussion in English. The participants have an abundance of opportunities to bring up issues and actual experiences from their own businesses.
Target group
Sponsors of internal projects, members of steering groups and managers who are involved in projects or programs and belong to the same company or organization.
Scope
The course will be adapted to the needs of the customer. It is normally a one-day course, which is held either during office hours or as a residential course including evening sessions. The number of participants will be maximized to 16.
