You have better opportunities to get the most interesting and exiting managerial jobs being a certified project manager. Demands for certified project managers at employment and in connection with procurement of entire projects and project management are getting more and more common.
The PMP® certificate is an internationally recognized proof of project management competence. It is issued by Project Management Institute (PMI) in the USA. To attain the PMP® title it is required that you meet high demands for experience and training as well as that you pass the PMP® examination. This exam prep course will get you ready for the exam.
Purpose
• To prepare you to obtain your PMP® exam, which is provided by the Project Management Institute PMI®
• To teach you project terminology in accordance with PMI®
• To give you detailed knowledge about processes and areas described in PMBOK®
• To develop your own strategy in order to pass the exam.
Format
The course is held in English and includes lectures and practical group tasks.
You must have either
35-hour formal project leader training + university exam + 4,500-hour project leading experience, or 35-hour formal project leader training + bachelor’s exam + 7,500-hour leading experience.
You must be familiar with
• Project charter
• Project planning techniques and processes
• Work breakdown structures
• Time and cost estimating
• Planning quality into a project
• Communication plans
• Management plans
• The role of the project manager
• Following up and measuring techniques
• Project closure.
You must have at least some exposure to
• Procurement management
• Earned value
• Risk management.
Target group
Experienced project managers who are heading medium-sized to larger projects and who want to raise their competence to a new level in their role as project managers and to get a receipt for their accomplishments.

Four full days. Max 20 participants.
